"Four weeks after my entry, I was already involved in the preparations for the acquisition of the American dialysis services company National Medical Care. When Fresenius Medical Care AG was subsequently founded and the company was launched on the New York Stock Exchange, the experience I gained was almost unique because - at that time - deals like this were very extraordinary in a German company. All in all, it was a very turbulent time, during which I learned a lot.
After one and a half years as a Corporate Finance Manager, I took over the supervision of the foreign affiliated companies: the co-ordination of company formations, acquisitions, mergers, reorganisations and capitalisation measures in co-operation with the representatives in their respective countries.
My duties are wide-ranging and very diverse. Summing up, I can say that to flexible employees, who do not stick to routines and fixed paths, Fresenius Medical Care will repeatedly offer new opportunities."
