Equipment for Therapeutic Apheresis
Therapeutic apheresis procedures include everything from simple and unspecific therapeutic plasma exchanges to highly specific adsorptive plasma treatments.
With the first Fresenius Medical Care adsorber DALI, suitable for whole blood, rather simple equipment was sufficient to provide this therapy. For this reason, 4008 ADS was developed as a simplified derivative of 4008 B. 4008 ADS, equipped with two pumps for whole blood and citrate as an anticoagulant, is a single therapy machine. It is used for LDL apheresis with DALI.
