PD catheters – Peritoneal Dialysis Access

Fresenius Medical Care‘s peritoneal dialysis catheters are especially designed to meet the specific needs for accessing the peritoneal cavity of adult and pediatric PD patients. Straight, coiled and swan-necked versions as well as special catheters such as fast-flow, extra small diameter (pediatric) and Oreopoulos Zellerman catheters are available.

PD-THERMOSAFEplus

The PD-THERMOSAFEplus is designed for the safe and comfortable warming of PD-fluids to body temperature. It is easy to operate and has a compact format.

Disinfectants

• Freka-SEPT 80: Alcohol-based disinfectant which is used for hands.
• Freka-SOFT: Liquid washing lotion.
• ClearSurf: For efficient wipe/scrub disinfection and cleansing of surfaces of dialysis machines, APD cyclers and medical products. It has a hepato-virucidal, bactericidal and fungicidal action, is odourless, free from aldehydes or phenols and does not form any aerosols.
